Presbyterian Senior Care (HMO) and Presbyterian MediCare PPO | Summer 2021 | Your Story

4 Important dates to remember for your 2022 benefit year The Open Enrollment Period for your 2022 Medicare coverage will run from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7! Here are some tips to get ready for Medicare’s Open Enrollment period: 1. Check your mail in September! You may get important notices from Medicare or Social Security. We will also mail you an Annual Notice of Change (ANOC). Your ANOC packet will include any changes in coverage, costs, or service area that will be effective in January 2022. 2. Review any 2022 changes to your health coverage or any extra help you may get to pay for prescription drugs. You may also get health plan marketing materials, like brochures, from insurance companies that offer Medicare health and prescription drug plans. Remember—health plans aren’t allowed to call or come to your home without an invitation from you. 3. Review your 2022 “Medicare & You” handbook. It has information about your Medicare coverage. 4. Think about your health and prescription coverage needs for 2022. Carefully review your Medicare coverage materials during Medicare Open Enrollment. Decide if your current Medicare coverage will meet your needs for the year ahead. If you like your current coverage and it’s still available for 2022, you don’t need to take any action. 5. Get personalized help. For answers about your benefits, our Presbyterian Customer Service Center is here for you.
